What we do
IFC Forum works across policy and advocacy, research and evidence, and membership activity. Our role is to improve understanding, support informed debate and provide a forum for practical discussion on matters impacting the CDOTs

Policy & advocacy

We work closely with policymakers, government institutions, regulators and international stakeholders across the UK, EU and globally to champion greater understanding of the Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories and the sectors they support.

Leveraging our extensive network, we facilitate high-level engagement, convene influential roundtables and discussions, and advocate for policies that support the long-term success of our members and jurisdictions.

Over recent years, we have met with representatives from 10 Downing Street, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, the Ministry of Justice, the Department for Business and Trade, the Office for Investment, and EU member states.

Research & evidence

We commission, develop and share research, polling, data and case studies that demonstrate the value and role of international financial centres. Through evidence-based insights and analysis, we challenge misconceptions, contribute to informed debate and ensure discussions are grounded in facts rather than assumptions.

Membership activity

We bring our members together through a programme of briefings, update calls and high-level roundtables in London, the Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories. Combining expert insight with peer-to-peer engagement, we help members stay ahead of the political, legal and regulatory developments affecting these jurisdictions and their sectors.
