About the CDOTs
An introduction to the three Crown Dependencies and fourteen Overseas Territories within the British family.
The Crown Dependencies and Overseas Territories are a diverse group of self-governing jurisdictions that play an important role in the global economy, while maintaining longstanding constitutional, legal and historical links to the UK.

In most cases, they govern their own domestic affairs, fund their own public services and maintain distinct institutions, laws and identities. Collectively, they support cross-border finance, trade and investment, while also contributing to defence, science, conservation and strategic connectivity.
